Hey Wayne:
Have been keeping up with your blog since November. It seems your trip is turning out to be the journey of a lifetime. How amazing. We are living vicariously through your experiences. Helps to kill the winter doldrums. Would love to email you directly. Don't know your address though.
What happened to your friend from Colon. Did she stay there?
How much did it cost for the Canyon Cutting?
Can't wait for your next input. Keep up with the blogging. We all are enjoying it immensely.

Hey Wayne,

We're having a lovely day here in Edmonton with -25 degrees and wind chills of -39. Nice eh?

How do I escape??? I tune into Waynes Blog and tune out the crappy weather. Simple eh?

I hope your having way to good of a time down there. And thanks for the updates. Fun to read and dream about.

Flathead Crossing

Flathead Crossing
June 07 trip with CaribooDualSport Group

September 22/07

Well the house is sold,I am retired,my daughter is married and all my household stuff is sold or given away.It has all been a blur for the last two weeks.I still have to put my van on blocks for storage at my friends who is nice enough to let me store it on her property while I go on my adventure.I will be leaving Williams lake on September 25 to spend a few days with friends in Vancouver and Nanimo before Peter and I leave on October 1/07. I don't think the reality of what I am doing has really sunk in yet,it has all happened so fast. Even though I have planned this trip for some time the fact that I am sitting in a empty house waiting to tie up the loose ends just seems too good to be real.I am going to miss my life here, but I know what lies ahead will be one hell of an adventure.
